Ann, GWB attended Andover, where he was head cheerleader, and which last I heard was not a public school.

Last I heard it was the most exclusive boys school in the United States.

Ann explain how GWB grew up in a small Texas town when he was attending the most exclusive boarding school in the nation in Massachusetts.

He went to a boarding school that cost $30,000 PER YEAR and you are talking about a public school in a small town in Texas.

That's a long way from Texas.

"Facilities for 30 sports include 2 hockey rinks, 2 swimming pools, 8 squash courts, 2 basketball courts, 2 dance studios, fitness center and wrestling room, 2 fully staffed training rooms; outside track, 18 playing fields, 18 tennis courts, nearby crew boathouse; indoor facilities for track, tennis and team practice."

That SURE AIN'T a public school. I went to a public school, there WERE NO SQUASH COURTS.

"The office of President is better served by someone with more average American up-bringing like Bush, rather than the pampered & preened elitist background of Kerry."

You call Andover average? Why the heck do they need two skating rinks, isn't one enough? 18 playing fields? Is that normal according to you?

"relatively average"

that covers a lot of ground, doesn't it. personally, i don't believe either one of these guys' lives comes close to being average. incidentally, the Crawford ranch purchased by GW and Laura covers about 1,600 acres (not too shabby)

does your definition of average include owning an oil company and being able to the Commander in Chief, "Pops"?

<edit> almost forgot to mention owning the texas rangers... yes, very average indeed.
