MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 9, 2004--FONAR Corporation (NASDAQ-FONR) , The MRI Specialist(TM), announced today that it sold 43 Stand-Up(TM) MRI scanners over the twelve month period ending June 2004. This represents an 87% increase in sales when compared to the 23 units sold in the corresponding period a year earlier. Total Stand-Up(TM) MRI sales now stand at 90.
