OT/Yen Funny, I own a lot of Yen but couldn't recommend it:

1. Major problem with deficits
2. Heavily exposed to imported energy prices
3. Aging population a drag on healthcare, social security
4. Big exposure to Chinese economy
5. Heavily dependent on performance of US economy, demand for US Treasuries

Wait a minute. The Yen has the same profile as the Greenback!

The only difference is that the Japanese economy might be entering a secular bull market whilst the US has entered a secular bear.
