The "new information" was that of the actual 9/11 incident itself. I thought I made that clear. Whatever information the CIA/NSA/MilIntel agencies HAD needed to be revised when the actual attack caught us off-guard, if indeed it did catch us off-guard. Considering the titles of reports being ignored at the White House and the well-known insider trading in options, SOMEONE must have known something and a) wasn't listened to, or b) wasn't precise and accurate enough to be of use (meaning: it was incomplete). In either case, that WE didn't know the information makes all plans or post 9/11 decisions based upon the older intelligence (with respect to bin Laden and Saudis, especially,) highly suspect and it was incredibly imprudent to have done ANYTHING special for bin Ladens or Saudis till we figured out what happened and WHO was involved. That's what I meant.
