How can you seriously argue tax rates have no effect on revenue? If Clinton and Bush hadn't raised taxes, revenue would've been less during the 90's expansion. You aren't contending that are you?

We had an expansion in the 80's but revenue never came up enough to balance the budget. The same thing is happening now: a money losing expansion.

Really? Evidence is it's the other way around. Clinton is gone and the Republicans are spending more than ever.
