I think of the 6 degrees of separation. Each of us is a pebble in a pond, but add that up, and you can form a rogue wave, washing the shore clean. I too initiate conversations, reinforcing that this is not about liberal or conservative, and rather than focusing on the things that divide, as has been made much of in the media, focus on common values and the right to be left alone and do it your own way. It is about those with criminal intent and those without. It is about those who support the Constitution and those who don't. Simple really!
