That was the first time I've seen Bill say something as explicit as that. Nadine and I have gone around about her saying it, rather often. The most recent I recall was her objection to a Juan Cole piece. The piece was standard criticism of the ties; Nadine called it anti-semitic.

Frankly, it's become fairly common to use it that way these days. As a result, as I said in that post, the term has lost some of its power. Given the serious character of anti-semitism in the world today, that's unfortunate.
