Not a very comprehensive answer.

And drug felonies are what percentage of all felonies? And in the other felonies, what are the imprisonment rates? What was the percentage of the convicts that were the first time offenders vs. those with prior convictions? How did the whites fare vs. blacks with that taken into account? How many black people there are vs. white? What is their respective rate of commitment of crime, arrest, conviction?

What is the party affiliation of convicted felons vs. non-convicted people? How do they actually vote?

Seems like a big project to me. And zonder will be checking if everything can be documented with actual data, polling data, research, statistical evidence. <g>
