Kerry will transform foreign affairs very quickly, and for the better, once he gets into power. Remember how close Clinton came to making peace in Israel. Kerry will try and try again to nail that one down. At the same time, starting to get us off oil will be a key longterm solution. Put the two together and we could gradually begin not having to worry about the Middle East anymore. Bush will leave Kerry a mess but he is the right man to clean it up fast.
