Ted, As it was, this raise was very late in the normal recovery cycle, The point is we HAVE a recovery cycle, and by your own admission, the recovery has been going on for a while. Yes, but its been a weak one with poor job creation. Its weakness is what allowed G-span to delay raising rates. However, just as he made the first tentative raise, some econ. data such as the jobs report and the ISM figures are suggesting that the econ. is starting to stall out. In the past month, a number of tech companies have warned and/or are paring future guidance. And the markets have been going no where for months now. Nothing definitive as of yet.......but something to watch closely. ted
