A deeper reliance on the "Anyone But Bush" message, which itself is being amplified in its volume and radicalism. And Kerry giving tacit approval because he can't open his mouth without sticking his foot in it. Your perceptions are really colored by your partisanship. This is the least left that I've ever seen the Democratic party, painfully so for them (IMO). re: Don't forget that Kerry has one of the most liberal voting records in the Senate, as well as a history of being an anti-war activist. Moderates aren't going to vote for him because they truly think Kerry will be one, but because they truly think Bush will never be one. And they'll take the chance of Kerry 2.1 kowtowing to the radical left after making it into office, because the blinding message for the moment is "Anyone But Bush." I didn't understand most of that, but I'll try to respond anyway. The "anyone but Bush" sentiment is very real. People really hate him because they believe that he has made a radical change in the direction of the country. But that doesn't mean that Kerry can't get voter support of his own accord, as he proved he can in what turned out to be an almost uncontested primary season. Give it some time. We've got the conventions, we've got the debates. The issues will get clarified, and people will be able to make decisions based on the (presumed) positions of the candidates. And not on canned personal attacks like "flipper". Don't get so upset this early, you've got 5 more months of this crap... it'll drive you nuts. John
