And Afghanistan was easier than estimates, thanks to the same people. Yeah...they got cocky and stupid after that...and still Afghanistan is far from the success they touted it would be, also in large measure due to the damage and redirection of the focus on Iraq. Today, both countries are a mess....more heroine coming from Afghanistan than ever, and of course we know what the socio-political situation is as well. Time to give someone else a try at fixing these disasters. Al
