I think you are approximately correct about the chronology. But you said that you disagree with people wearing a particular robe. The Bible preaches modesty, and Mary the mother of Jesus wore such a modest robe. Prior to the 50's most Christian women wore full length dress and often a veil, especially when attending services. Your chiding of the Muslim religion is without regard to the roots of modesty found in the Christian religion. And in both religions, the woman is subservient to the man. Orca
