HUD?? Hmm, what small potatoes compared to what is going on NOW.. Sometimes I wish you apologists, supporters, workers, <g> et al would put things in priority.

Doncha think, it's about time <g?

Falacy of two wrongs make a right? This seems to be a common theme with some people. In a free country we should always be concerned about the Executive being outside the Constitution and the law, but often, these charges are only politics and guilt by innuendo.

Clinton got an impeachment for lying. Are you advocating that? If so then we are in agreement on the proper course for the current President.

Reagan, of course, never had that problem. During his administration, HUD served as a trough for snorting and grunting supporters. Then there's the S&L debacle. None of which bothered the Great Communicator, as I recall. He once came up to his black HUD secretary Sam Pierce and shook his hand saying, "How are you, Mr. Mayor? I'm glad to meet you. How are things in your city?" Ha ha. That's leadership. I don't believe Pierce was ever charged in the Reagan HUD scandal, even though he acknowledged funneling contracts to Reagan cronies and contributors. M2
