Gaddafi's daughter joins Saddam's defence team

The daughter of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi wants to help defend Saddam Hussein in court, a Jordanian lawyer and member of the defence team representing the former Iraqi leader said today.

''Dr Aicha Muammar (Gaddafi) is a law professor and she is ready to join the defence team and form a Libyan law experts team to defend Saddam Hussein,'' Ziad al-Khasawneh told The Associated Press.
