I have a vague recollection of genuine conservative Republicans in office who used to profess and practice those same beliefs. But it's getting very hazy due to the passage of so much time since they existed....pity. The country would be better off with a genuine conservative-liberal debate about policies instead of the hate-talk pissing match over distorted stereotypes and cliches that we have now.
