Hi tw,
Toronto are being done by Vietnamese or Jamaicans against their own. If that were true few would care. The fact is though violent crime in the form of muggings with weapons, home invasion, and innocent bystanders getting killed or rendered invalids is becoming more common. recently a woman was rendered paraplegic by a stray bullet as she ordered a sandwich. A person buying a ticket home was murderd in a travel agency robbery. We had a fellow die in his bedroom of a stray bullet from outside while his 9 year old called 911 and tried to administer CPR only to watch his father die in his arms... a few weeks later a teen was narrowly missed while showering in his own house by a stray bullet.. An innocent teen was murdered and an elementary school locked down while suspects were sought... no not gang on gang only... who the hell would care...

Yesterday,a man walked in to a meat packaging plant in the US and shot and killed 4 people before killing himself If that is all gun control prevents I'm willing to take my chances and keep a little more freedom... I think that issue goes way beyond gun control.. but as our misguided municipal politicians continue to strive to make our cities 'world class' a la New York I think it may become an issue...
