I wasn't 'supporting' anyone else.

Simply posted the Times article because it made what I thought was an interesting point --- and a useful way to look at things:

BOTH news organizations display a particular bias (best described in the Times article as 'nationalism').

It's helpful to consider how each 'plays to their base', and reports events with their own unique (and, rather obvious) bias.
