Personally, I couldn't care less if Nader is or is not anti-semitic. He's irrelevant other than to the extent that he affects a close election.

I forgot to mention that the image of the "Jew puppet-master" has been an extremely common theme in anti-semitic imagery worldwide for centuries.

Now, that argument makes more sense to me. I don't know if I had ever been exposed to that imagery or not. Neither anti-semitism nor anti-anti-semitism is of special interest to me. So either my memory is failing or my cultural illiteracy is showing.

I assume Nader is desparate because the Greens turned him down and is making a play for the teeny Buchanan slice of the electorate.

Chomsky gave Kerry an endorsement. It was luke warm. I think he said he was only a little less bad than Bush but it was enough that the cult-members will vote for Kerry. Good thing there aren't many of them.
