GWB was AWOL on terror even as the WTC's were burning. That's just a fact. No spin. We can all see the footage in real time. He sat there for seven minutes as thousands of people were dying. No excuse for it whatsoever. This is no commander in chief. Days later he'd go to NYC and speak through a megaphone, telling the victims and rescue workers that he feels their pain. But when it was his chance to do something while the attacks were happening, he just sat there. Didn't even jump up and ask any questions, didn't even look upset. Just sat there looking dazed, paralyzed, afraid. This is the real GWB the GOP doesn't want you to see. Just like the GW who talks tough against terrorists between golf swinjgs. He's completely out of touch and just doesn't give a damn.
