I have been informed there are no crosses at Arlington Cemetary.

Interestingly, I have since found this is a very common misconception. In fact, I have asked several individuals who have visited Arlington Cemetary what their strongest memory of their visit was. In EVERY CASE, the answer has been "the Crosses on all the graves".

It is bizarre that so many people have this image burned into their brains when it doesn't exist. There are some other federal cemetaries that DO have rows of white crosses, however.
