That says it all. Benazir from Muslim Pakistan, Indira Gandhi and now Sonia Gandhi from second largest Muslim country India, Aquino from the Phillipines with a sizeable Muslim populations are some of many examples of Islamic countries where Islamic men have voted woman into power.

My point is, it is not the religion but the individual country that decides how they treat their womwn. US is a prime case where majority Christians frown on women getting into power. Yeah right, they can serve the military. Big deal. Military is not an elite job isn't it? GWB proves that with he did during the Vietnam war.
