Limtex,

While flipping TV channels tonight, I happened to come across the QVC channel which was selling a small camcorder, about the size of a pack of cigarettes.
What impressed me most was the speed at which the camcorders were being bought., there being a tally board showing the units sold.
The price was about $167, including the shipping.

QVC had a very nice informative demonstration, although they didn't get into fps or recording time. But, at least QVC mentioned that there is some degradation when the digital zoom is used.

One caller inquired about the data storage media. Up popped a full-screen view of a Lexar 12X SD card, and also a one GByte Pretec card.

I found the following information about the camcorder which was shown on QVC. In fact this might be a later version of the unit QVC was selling.

This might be an indication of things to come.
