The only ones I know that express their hatred for their fellow Americans are liberals, they hate all minorities who don't think the way they want them to.

the people who most strongly express their patriotism tend to be the people who most often express their hatred for their fellow Americans. And their fellow humans to an even greater extent. "Subhuman Islam" is a term that I have learned here on SI. Furthermore, building off your point, the people who most strongly express their religion tend to be the people who most often express hatred. I am yet to see a world religion that has hatred as a value, even if hatred is still an unfortunately common practice.
