That was what one on-site DJ said at the very end of an interview, something about the lists she was handed down, with music allowed and what those approved lists were lacking.

She seemed to have regretted the comment even while she said it, although the interview wasn't for any critical "NPR", just the finnish "NPR" variation.

She also quoted a third "classification" missing, but I have forgotten what that was.

Hip-hop I kind of understand, but why country?? Too depressive, mostly for losers????
(her conclusion was something about "white, simplistic, agressive rock"...)

PS Anyway, it was interesting to see how the troops spent their time inside the Saddam Palaces, pools, gyms, etc..

"NPR" is funny, all those congressional budget funnies, plus the begging sprees.

However, it is true that one gets what one pays for..
(we are paying some $150 per year, no commercials, no begging sprees, nor corporative sponsoring and $150 per year seems to be pretty exactly what it takes to produce some information)

PS Additionally, this little constitutional thing, about "informed citizens" and our "NPR", while the commercial ones are free to do whatever they seem to need to get some advertisement revenue..
