In my work I have had opportunities to talk with my counterparts in Egypt. The point I have tried to make is that if Arafat was Mandela the world would feel differently about the situation of the Palestinians. As long as they behead individuals, bomb buildings, hijack airplanes etc they will be reviled.

It is so simple and so difficult to grasp when you are convinced you are a victim.
