Hi

Desalination is not so expensive now. It doesn't cost much more than pumping water up from the Sea of Galilee in the Rift Valley, which we do on a large scale. Even in the worst scenario, the cost of desalination to the Israeli taxpayer would be about $200 million per year.

I did not know this. This is excellent news IMO.
