<<Our objectives in the ME are no different than those of our traditional allies. It is too expensive to go it alone.>>

Frances objectives in Iraq were diametrically opposed to ours.

We are not alone, we do have some allies. It would be great if the nations you call our allies footed more to common defense needs, but they have not done so in decades.

everywhere in Europe, you name it - the people hate us. It may be true that they will hate us in the ROW no matter what we do

Where have you been in Europe lately?

None of that is true. Except of course for France and perhaps the Spanish Govt but not the Spanish people.

Right now, it is not only in France, but everywhere in Europe, you name it - the people hate us.

You know people personally in France or another European country ? In that you have lived there and speak the language ?

Because if all you're downloading is the line from the left wing socialist media in France, and the antics in Cannes around Moore's latest "documentary", sure it looks like they all hate us, the media would just love to inflate their influence by implying that they really "speak for the public".

It's not the case with the people themselves. There is a large diversity of opinion on issues just as here in the US. Shrub has allowed a lot of nutcases to come out of the woodwork and get their voices heard is the main thing, but don't mistake it for overall reality.
