I agree, neither Korea, Japan or Germany have oil resources and we are still maintaining a military presence there. There are too many nitwits thinking we will be leaving Iraq soon.

Or perhaps the argument is to get France to help. Unfortunately we use more oil than our old "allies" we have much more to lose than these oil declining societies.
