Tech stocks as a whole have been flat for the first 6 months of 2004, but within tech some segments are zooming (cell phones, internet, wireless telecom equipment) and others are in the tank (anything supply chain related). Thats what you ALWAYS have in a bear market Elroy! Or a pause market or whatever you call this. The naz has been flat since sept of last year. Thats a LONG TIME in a recovery. Take a look at the late 70s if you want to see a parallel mkt to this. Anybody remember when motorola blew out? It was april. MO is flat since then. That is not a bull market.
