"Got a Great Blue Heron on top of my barn"

Cool birds. I live along a creek and a wetland area and have been trying to id as many birds as I can. A Great Blue Heron frequents the area along with lots of egrets and a pair of Red Tail Hawks live in a tree on the other side of the creek. The last couple of months though there have been a pair of Green Herons (which are way smaller than the Great Blues) living in the section of the creek right along my property. Very cool to watch.

Sorry to ramble, but not many people like to hear my bird stories. Thought I could force it on you since you brought it up! ;-)

Have a happy 4th.

Hmmm. Close to a homosexual word? Are you sure you got the right word? Here's the definition of demur from dictionary.com

To voice opposition; object: demurred at the suggestion. See Synonyms at object.

It's close to a small arboreal, mostly nocturnal primates- word. It's close to a leg bone situated between the pelvis and knee in humans- word. But I can't think of any word associated with gayness that it's close to. Give me a hint.

To me, "don't agree 100% with" sounds like an approximate, or close, opposite of 'demur,' in fact.

Just checked antonyms. You evidently "accept, acquiesce, agree, concur, go along with" CYBERKEN pretty much--just not 100%.

So I'm starting over. My list of non-CYBERKEN-mentality-Republicans on this thread is down from 1 to 0.
