IMHO this is just another example of Kerry's being willing SAY ANYTHING to get elected. Thoughtful people will LOOK AT HIS VOTING RECORD and judge his truthfulness. Unwise people will accept him at face value. Kerry is counting on enough unwise people to get him elected. Americans, are we unwise or not? November will tell. jdn

"John Kerry's judicial nominees would similarly frustrate the people's will and allow this grotesque procedure to continue," Racicot said. "Americans from across the political spectrum oppose partial-birth abortion because they support a culture of life, but John Kerry returned to the Senate last year to oppose the partial-birth abortion ban."

Where are the bishops that continue not to take a stronger position on parital-birth abortion with Catholics who support this act? It gives me the impression they are hiding like they did with gays in the priesthood. How can the bishops preach the infallibility of the pope on abortion and catholics they ignore this defience.

I would think they are more concerned about the population of the Church rather than their beliefs. The Catholic church is trying to keep parish's financially strong thereby turn the other cheek.

When he looks at a woman who has had an abortion, he is thinking "She murdered her baby". Well, at least all the women around him now know what he's thinking.

Wonder what other morally repugnant activates he thinks are beyond the government's purview to control?
