Moore made that point, the WH is using phony scare tactics to "keep the war alive". I heard Senator Hutchinson talking about a 25-year war. I guess that's the rightwing vision, to grab power for 25 years using 9-11 as an excuse to scare us all, but also taking credit if there are no more terrorist attacks inside the US. People are getting wise to it though. Last time Ashcroft alerted us local law enforcement across the country cried foul and declared he was just recycling old intel.
