Getting back to the movie. Wonder why Gwen Stacey wasn't in the first movie before MJ. If I remember right, Gwen was killed by the Green Goblin in the comic book before MJ came into the picture. Unless their planning a reverse role and the blonde in the second is Gwen.

AFAIK Iron Man is planned - don't know about script/director. Haven't seen any news items about a star.
I remember MVL saying that it's a 2005 release.

This may be part of MVL's current (stock price) problem - not enough definite info out there for future visibility.

Sunday July 11, 2:23 pm ET
By Dean Goodman

LOS ANGELES, July 11 (Reuters) - Spider-Man had little trouble snaring Will Ferrell and King Arthur in his web over the weekend to hang onto the top spot at the North American box office, according to studio estimates issued on Sunday.

Sony Corp.'s (Tokyo:6758.T - News; NYSE:SNE - News) superhero sequel "Spider-Man 2" sold about $46 million worth of tickets in the three days beginning July 9, taking its total to $257.3 million after two weekends.

I hate reuters. I guess Sony is the owner of spider-man! Good weekend:)46 million! >>>>>>Found it Ironic that Sony is looking to buy MGM, and Time Warner wants in to.<<<<< Good point.?.?
