<<< These Militant Islamists have picked us as their number one target. We have no choice but to take them out. The French, German, and Russian Governments don't want to be part of what we are doing. No amount of "diplomacy" will make them join us. It is not just Iraq, they wanted no part of Afghanistan either. They are not worried about an Islamic Nuke, they figure it will be used on Israel or us, not them.>>>

It is all about diplomacy.

In WWII, we did not have to go to war against Germany. The US public was not initially pursuaded. If it were not for FDR, we may not have gone to war against Germany.

Similarly, today, you have to make the case for going to war. First at home - then abroad.

We are 5 percent of the world's population and we account for more than 25% of the world's commerce. We account for perhaps more than 50% of the world's pending on the military.

We can probably do anything we want when it comes to military action. But that is not the wisest thing to do. We have to enlist others and have them kick in.

It should be far easier for us to pursuade Western Civilization to go along with us (side with us) than to side with AQ or OBL.

That should be a no brainer.
