I have no problem with that approach. The reason abortion will remain legal (no matter who is in the White House) is that keeping it legal is the most pragmatic solution.

But the politicians never phrase it like that, they couch it in terms of the ridiculous "right to choose," what a load of crap. They act like an act of pragmatism is taking the moral high ground.

You are killing an innocent defenseless baby for purposes of pragmatism, pure and simple, at least own up to it.

Taking away a woman's right to choose is a losing issue for the right. But respecting "life" shows you have sensitivity to moral issues.

Amazing that Cheney is talking moral values. Man, that guy could give a damn about anyone but himself and his cronies.
