"I'm all for the "war on terror"." Good. "Why don't we go to where the terrorists are, instead of invading Iraq and saying "bring it on"?" Saddam was breaking the law, a danger to the U.S. and having a working democracy in the middle of terrorist land is a good idea. You can be against all these points if you want, but they are the reasons. "For instance, we're pretty sure bin Laden is in NW Pakistan - why don't we go get him?" We'll get him. Try to embrace the idea that a democratic Arab country in the middle of terrorist country is better than an avowed enemy of the United States with ties to the terrorists running a brutal dictatorship.
