How many have you actually seen?

Do you think I count them? The news programs in my city set aside time each week to interview state residents who have been injured........its usually a couple per week in a state of 5 million people. In any case, one is way too many. Last week, we got to watch a guy with no legs playing with his kid. He's 25........he will be that way the rest of his life. Its a waste.

I'm not denying there have been some horrific injuries. Again, have you ever been in a combat zone?

No, and I hope I never will be.

I have been, and appreciate every one of the current military serving their country every day.

Then you should know better. Just because you've been in a combat situation does not allow you to make light of the dead and maimed simply because American cities have a high crime rate.
