this was discussed in the movie where the local employment office in Flint said there was around 50% unemployment which I think we all know is more accurate than the bogus UI claims figures this administration puts out

Or perhaps you buy Moore's sophisticated thesis that capitalism is bad and Roger Smith was just a meany.

I went to school with both of Roger Smith's sons. Roger Smith was just a clueless idiot who had no idea how to deal with the looming japanese threat.

If there is one thing I and most americans are tired of, its republicans blaming the US WORKFORCE for incompetant MANAGEMENT. And that is what Roger Smith is, incompetant. I wonder if they came up with "planned obsolescence" at HBS?

There is a difference between honest responsible capitalism and the Halliburton types which gouge, bilk, overbill and otherwise commit fraud, while keeping their profits overseas so they don't have to pay their taxes.

Warren Buffett and Lee Iaococca just endorsed Kerry. You don't get anymore ethical and capitalistic than those two. This myth that democrats are anti-business is bull. During the Clinton years businesses in the US did great because everyone did great. A strong consumer class makes everyone richer. whereas Bush's trickle down economy doesn't trickle much.

When do you thing US citizens will understand the US unemployment numbers??

Do you think Bush will extend them for the third time, this time??

Or just trust his and your basic ignorance??

Btw, I hope you know the basics of the funny US unemployment numbers, both of them official ones, equally funny..
