Take a look at the picture of Kerry in this link. There is no way he is a lifetime regular gun owner and shooter. He is committing several safety infractions in this picture. He has his finger on the trigger, is not looking where the gun is pointed and has his eyes closed. keepandbeararms.com The NRA only has 4 million members in a Nation of 300 million. You're attributing way to much power to them. There are 80 million gun owners. 76 million of them are not members of the NRA. Kerry says he is for the 2nd Amendment--but his voting records stands for a BS collective rights theory, a State's right to Militias, no individual right, and he has never ever voted against a single anti-rights measure. States have powers not rights. The bill of rights applies to the people not the State. Here we have a list of people's rights and these people would tell you that the framers slipped a Government Power in the list.
