Kerry is a life-long hunter, marksman, war hero, pilot, veterans rights champion and all around real deal rugged guy. Bush isn't any of those. If you think many people are going to vote against Kerry because hs easnts assault weapons off the streets guess again. The police unions who once backed Bush are all behind Kerry now, as are the firemen and more and more military personel and veterans. The NRA is mainly extreme rightwingers, many of them fringe militia type nuts. They will mainly vote for Bush. You assertion that 76 million gun owners give a crap about Bush is ridiculous. Kerry is not trying to take anyone's guns away. And he is no wimpy liberal. He makes Bush look like a midget in the macho department.
