That was the gist of it. Hate was too strong of a word. Let me say that the majority of NRA members won't be voting for Kerry but remember there are ONLY an estiamted 4 million NRA members. That represents only 1.3% of the population. Surely Kerry isn't afraid of the NRA. Kerry however should fear gun owners in general. Many gun owners elect not to join the NRA and instead join RKBA or GOA etc which are lot more pro-rights than even the NRA. In other words the NRA is not conservative enough for a lot of those 80 million gun owners.
