Kerry did indeed choose Edwards as a running mate. This is a formidable ticket. The "two Americas" message is very powerful. Is a sure draw for the independents. Kerry's military appeal couples with Edwards' economic appeal makes it a formidable ticket.

Mephisto, your instincts were right on. Dean received attention because he started so early but he was always too far to left for my taste. Edwards has it just right...hope he doesn't become contaminated in next 4mos under Kerry's influence. Of course, the opposite could happen & possibly Edwards will teach "out of touch" Kerry how to effectively communicate with American voters.
