By one measure of addiction --- the recidivism rate --- it's approximately the same as the opiates... a failure rate of around 80% - 90%.

I have not said that cigarettes are the hardest addiction to break.

What I did is to point out that Rush Limbaugh SAID that there is no proof that nicotine is addictive and that is a LIE. At best.
