McCain does have the courage to still stand upto George for the sake of his Republican party. I am sure he will come out against any exploitation of his name by George Bush. He loves Max Cleland and service to the country much more than he loves George Bush and loyalty to one person.

I think Mc Cain still thinks he will have a shot at the Presidency in 2008. He's just doing the party thing to keep in the good graces of the GOP leadership and is showing he can be their lapdog.

It's ugly and I have lost respect for Mc Cain. I would have voted for him if he ran with Kerry. AFter Mc Cain's recent support for Bush I have to rescind that respect.

Mc Cain now supports a man who will lie in order to get someone to send their child off to die and kill others..............there is no lower level of human existence.
