They are in a real quandary with deciding what to do with Cheney. Stay the course as promised, and keep the guy who offends even moderate Republicans, or reverse course and risk doing a "flip flop". Edwards would cut him to ribbons in a debate.

I suspect that Cheney will be "forced" to become ill. He will want to "spend more time with the family". You can bet that Carl Rove is working overtime on an exit strategy.
