Great post zonkie. I'm waiting to see Bush eat his words on this issue. What a duffus.

Oh no, not another flip-flop by Bush. He has done a lot in the past two months both here and abroad. Now he is planning to get back stem cell research! Wasn't the removal of subsidies on steel enough of a flip-flop by Bush already?

Hatch just supports half the magic of stem cells. Embryonic stem cells can become ANY cell in the body. Hatch supports this. Cloned embryonic stem cells are YOUR cells and can become any cell in YOUR body with no rejection. Hatch doesn't support this.
Half is better than none, but the whole magical scientific enchilada would be better. If we don't do it, foreigners will, to great profit.
