I've been thinking about the rate hike, my expectation that we are in some kind of big c that will correct the move out of the 02 lows, and the growing lack of support for the war in Iraq, and I'm starting to think that shrub could be doomed. There hasn't been any public talk but I'll bet Bush is not very happy with Boinkspan.

I personally think that perhaps the fed has jumped the gun a bit. Then we've got the energy problems which are only going to get worse even if things go well in Iraq. I can't find a whole lot to be real optimistic about. The markets also can't be too thrilled with the prospect of a Kerry presidency.

I better go out somewhere before I buy some more poots.....g/ng
