we were on the ridge looking over the city for the cities fireworks. But the really cool part was everyone in the city had fireworks and were shooting at the same time. This resulted in a 180° field of view of solid and never ending fireworks for about an hour. Truly incredible!!

oh that does sound like a beautiful sight...

i do worry a bit about fireworks out west though....at least SW...

so dry... always a concern for wildfires

but i heard up north they got some much needed rain

We had the same experience. My town is relatively flat, but there is a large hill to the North, near the public golf course. My kids and I went up there to watch the official show and were pleased to see we have a great view of all of the "private" displays from around town as well.

Long live illegal fireworks!
