Bush has spent about $75 million on negative ads and has failed to hurt Kerry. One more negative ad won't matter.

Sorry, Ken, but I have to agree with jlallen on this one, not that I think you are a pinhead..

However, this ad is perfectly timed to show that Edwards is truly Kerry's Second Choice VP. Kerry tried very hard to score a real zinger of a victory by wooing McCain for the #2 spot.

And it came back to haunt him and the Demo ticket. Not only did McCain say No thanks but he came out aggressively for the Bush/Chaney team and agreed not only to campaign actively for Bush's reelection but consented to have this ad released at the same time that Edwards' choice was announced.

Talk about stealing one's thunder!!
